Matt Breeland has been selected to the Texas Super Lawyers® list each year since his eligibility, after previously being selected as a Super Lawyers® “Rising Star” 2017 - 2021. The Super Lawyers® list represents the top 5% of lawyers in the state and is based on multi-phase selection process that includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.

As lead trial counsel, Matt has obtained several Top Verdicts® in the State of Texas, including multi-million-dollar verdicts.

After spending the first part of his career defending personal injury cases, Matt knows how the other side works. In that role, Matt gained a unique and highly valuable perspective on the litigation tactics employed by insurance companies against those who fall victim to another person's carelessness. In 2016, Matt had a calling to switch sides. Ever since, he has exclusively represented injury victims.

Matt is married to Austin Realtor Leslie Breeland, who is also an attorney. Matt and Leslie met in law school and now have two children, a boy and a girl, and a crazy French Bulldog. The Breeland family helps keep Austin weird and fun. When he isn't zealously representing injured clients against giant insurance companies, Matt is usually goofing around with his family and friends, cooking and/or eating great food, watching live music and sports, binging true crime documentaries, or playing mediocre golf. Matt has completed a marathon and a triathlon, both without walking or stopping (just don't ask him how long it took him to finish them). Matt has also served as a film screener for the South by Southwest Film Festival.
